The Trades

As a print designer in Los Angeles, I’ve had the unique experience at one time or another of influencing the look of both of Hollywood’s historic publications.

8 years as Art Director of Special Issues for The Hollywood Reporter (1992-2000) and 4 years as Design Editor for V Life at Variety (2001-2005) have given me a lot of experience: managing an art department, designing signature formats, art directing scores of illustrations and photo-shoots, photo-research, and working closely editorially with writers, reporters, editors and publishers.
