Michael Connely’s novel concerns a reporter out to catch a serial killer before being downsized from his post at the Los Angeles Times. For the front flap, I designed the reporter’s news item as it would’ve appeared in the Metro section of the paper. The original photography cover depicts where the story’s first victim is discovered.
