When Kent Anderson couldn’t find a publisher for the sequel to his highly regarded first novel, Sympathy for the Devil, publisher Dennis McMillan stepped in. Following the success of this edition, Bantam Books republished the novel.

This was my first book jacket design. The wrap-around spine treatment was an idea I had that I’d never seen used before. I’ve since seen it used often.
